2. Regarding the Acquisition of Personal Information

When acquiring personal information, the company goes through appropriate steps to do so. If the company is to acquire personal information through written mail or through web pages displayed on the website, there will be a message in advance stating the purpose of collecting personal information. However, considering the situation of acquiring personal information, if the purpose is clear and the other laws and regulations allow it, the company may use personal information without having to disclose the purpose of using personal information.


3. Regarding Handling Personal Information

The company, in order to prevent leakage, loss of, or damage to personal information, takes necessary and appropriate safety measures every time it acquires, uses, and stores personal information.


4. Regarding the Purposes of Using Personal Information

The company uses acquired personal information for the following purposes:

(1) To exercise investor’s rights and for the company to fulfill its duties based on “Law Concerning Investment Trusts and Investment Corporations” and other related laws and regulations.
(2) To create data regarding unitholders roster, etc. as based on the Investment Trust Law, etc. or to manage unitholders’ information or to provide information to unitholders.
(3) To answer and confirm inquiries and visitors regarding the company’s projects and operations.
(4) The company’s execution of acquiring assets under management for the company’s clients (Includes investment corporation, SPC as a vehicle for investment, and other corporations and unions, including the trustee, etc.), asset management business such as selling and leasing, rental management business, building management business, and other businesses, as well as for analyses, collecting of data, and various guidance necessary to carry out these operations.
(5) To confirm the identity of persons on forms such as applications and contracts which are necessary for the company to perform its projects and operations.
(6) Besides items (1) to (5), for the company’s general projects and operations or for incidents and situations related to them.
(7) To disclose or provide personal information to third parties for the purposes stated in items (1) to (6).


5. Regarding the Disclosure and Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties

The company will not provide or disclose personal information to a third party except in the following cases:

(1) When the person agrees to the company’s providing of their personal information to a third party
(2) When required by law or regulation
(3) When there is immediate need to do so because there is danger to a person’s life, body, or their property, but the concerned person is unreachable to acquire their agreement
(4) When there is specific need to do so for improving or protecting public health and healthy development of children, but the concerned person is unreachable to acquire their agreement
(5) When the company is required to cooperate with one of the country’s institutions, or local government, or the consigned bodies, to determine a law, but when acquiring agreement from the concerned person for providing their personal information might be considered an obstacle in the process
(6) Given that providing personal information is required, and the company is providing the information to a company or organization which is under the company’s supervision
(7) For other reasons as allowed by the “Act on the Protection of Personal Information” and other related laws and regulations.


6. Supervision of Consignees

When the company discloses or provides personal information to its business consignees, it supervises the consignees in ways such as requiring them to keep strict safety measures to prevent loss, misuse, and modification of personal data.
